Josh Mayhem

Visual Artist & Sculptor

Los Angeles-based artist Josh Mayhem is celebrated for his distinctive Blown Away aesthetic, transforming designer toys and iconic pop culture figures into high-end contemporary gallery sculptures. Beginning with small-scale customizations, Mayhem quickly evolved to create unique, one-of-a-kind sculptures that capture the illusion of motion and chaos through his signature windswept style. His vibrant works invite viewers into a world of wonder and curiosity, bridging the gap between pop culture and fine art.

Mayhem’s work has been exhibited in prominent museums, major art fairs, and galleries worldwide, including Los Angeles, New York, Venice, Dubai, Mexico City, and more. He has collaborated with leading names in the designer toy industry and earned multiple awards, such as Custom of the Year at the Designer Toy Awards in 2019 and 2020. His sculptures are included in private collections of notable figures such as J Balvin, Heather Dubrow, and Josh Altman.

Through his innovative approach, Josh Mayhem redefines the possibilities of collectible toys, elevating them into captivating contemporary art that challenges conventions and delights audiences globally.
