The crocodile is an animal that has always frightened me, as if it could emerge from the water at any moment and from anywhere. It creates a sense of insecurity but at the same time fascinates with its elongated, rugged body and sharp gaze. I wanted to make it less harsh and more approachable, a silent agreement between us to preserve its identity but with the condition of softening it with beauty.
