The crocodile is an animal that has always frightened me, as if it could emerge from the water at any moment and from anywhere. It creates a sense of insecurity but at the same time fascinates with its elongated, rugged body and sharp gaze. I wanted to make it less harsh and more approachable, a silent agreement between us to preserve its identity but with the condition of softening it with beauty.

Le crocodile est un animal qui m’a toujours fait peur. Comme si il pouvait surgir de l’eau à n’importe quel moment et endroit. Il crée une insécurité mais fascine en même temps par son corps longiligne cabossé et piquant au regard. J’ai voulu le rendre moins rugueux et plus sympathique, un accord tacite entre nous pour conserver son identité mais à la condition. De l’adoucir en beauté .
